GLP-1 guides for women who want real answers
Three practical guides written by someone who's on it too — so you can protect your muscle, fix your energy, and stop second-guessing every decision.

I wrote these guides because I couldn't find them anywhere else. I'm a chiropractor and nutritionist — and I'm on Mounjaro myself. When I started, I had the same questions every woman on GLP-1s has, and the answers either didn't exist or were buried in research papers not written for real life. These are the guides I wish I'd had: clinical knowledge, practical application, zero waffle.
Why you're here
GLP-1s work. But they don't come with a manual. And the gaps — energy, muscle, nutrition — are exactly where most people fall down.
Exhausted despite sleeping
Your appetite's suppressed, your weight's shifting — but your energy hasn't caught up. Nobody warned you this would happen.
Losing muscle, not just fat
GLP-1s don't discriminate. Without the right nutrition, you're shrinking the wrong tissue — and your GP isn't monitoring it.
Blood results that mean nothing
You've had bloods done. Nobody explained what to look at on GLP-1s specifically, or how to read the results for your situation.
Drowning in conflicting advice
Every article says something different. You're smart enough to know most of it is generic — but you can't tell what actually applies to you.
The guides
Not generic health content. Not 100 pages of fluff. Targeted answers to the exact problems GLP-1s create.
Complete bundle
All three guides — everything you need
The blood work guide, protein playbook, and injection day protocol. Each solves a different piece of the puzzle.
Guide 01
Stop being told your results are "normal" when you feel anything but — and learn to read your own blood work
Read Your Own Blood Work
Your GP runs standard bloods. But GLP-1s affect specific markers your standard panel won't flag. This guide tells you exactly what to ask for, what's worth monitoring, and how to interpret results in the context of what you're taking.
Written by a registered chiropractor and nutritionist who takes this guide to her own appointments.

Less than a private blood test.
Guide 02
Stop guessing how much protein you actually need — and start eating in a way that protects your muscle
The GLP-1 Protein Playbook
Eating less is easy on GLP-1s. Eating enough of the right things when your appetite has disappeared is the actual challenge. This playbook gives you targets, timing, and real food options — built around a reduced appetite, not a normal one.
Built from clinical practice and Laura's own experience on Mounjaro — not generic nutrition advice.

One change that sticks changes everything.
Guide 03
Make injection day work for you, not against you — with a simple protocol that takes 10 minutes
The Injection Day Protocol
What you do in the 24 hours around your injection changes how you feel for the rest of the week. Most people work this out by accident. This protocol gives you a clear, practical routine covering nutrition, hydration, and movement — on the day and the day after.
The exact routine Laura uses herself every injection day — refined over months of being on Mounjaro.

Questions
Is this going to tell me things I've already googled?
Probably not. These aren't built from generic wellness content — they're built from clinical practice and my own experience on Mounjaro. The blood work guide specifically covers markers your standard NHS panel won't include. If you've been on GLP-1s for more than a few weeks and you're still guessing, there's something useful here.
I'm on Mounjaro, not Ozempic — does this still apply to me?
Yes. The guides cover GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP receptor agonists, which includes Mounjaro (tirzepatide), Ozempic, and Wegovy. Where there are meaningful differences I flag them. The core nutrition and blood panel principles apply across all of them.
Will I actually use this, or will it sit in my downloads folder?
They're designed to be used, not read once and filed. The blood work guide is something you take to an appointment. The protein playbook has a calculator you fill in. The injection day protocol has a one-page checklist. Short enough to act on, specific enough to be worth it.
Can I share these with my doctor or nurse?
Yes, and I'd encourage it for the blood work guide especially. It's written to be something you can take to an appointment and use as a conversation starter — not something that positions you as difficult, but as informed.
Is this medical advice?
No — and it doesn't try to be. This is evidence-informed nutritional and lifestyle guidance, written by a registered clinician who's on GLP-1 medication herself. It supports what you're doing with your prescribing team, it doesn't replace it.
Ready for the full picture?
The guides answer specific questions. This gives you the complete framework — 12 weeks of nutrition, movement, labs, and sustainable habits, built specifically for women on GLP-1s.
